Casts before surgery

Hi it is Kamryn again!  I had to get casts on before surgery. I went to the Doctor on Monday and they put them on. It took them about an hour.  Here is how they did it.  They slipped something on that was sock-like so the casts won't rub because it would give me blisters. Next they got a casting material wet and started wrapping it around my leg. After a while the casts hardened.  Then they asked me what color I wanted and I said, 'Blue and green stripes.'
